Bob just left our house after fixing the dryer, a very necessary appliance for a family. This is the second time he’s been in our home, as he worked on our refrigerator last time. Bob is an incredibly talented repair person. He was able to fit me in his schedule, was polite, knowledgeable and took the time to explain how he could fix my dryer without ordering and replacing a very expensive part. Not everyone would be so honest and helpful! Bob is at the top of my list if I need help again. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I had a problem with my Kenmore washer in that it would complete the wash cycle but would not spin or drain. I had to wring out a whole load of laundry and use a friends washer. I first called Sears and got a customer service person who I could not completely understand but finally find out that I could not get and appointment to fix the washer for 10 days. In addition, the service call was $129 at a minimum-could be more depending on labor hours and parts but they would give me and estimate at the time of the service call. That was too long a time to wait for a washer repair so I called Bob's Appliance Repair from the Yellow Pages and I am so glad I did. He came out in 2 days time. He said the problem was the lid switch was broken therefore the machine will not spin because it is the same as the door being open. He did not have a replacement part with him so he wired around the switch so I could use the washer until the part came in. When the part came in, he came out and put in the new switch and he only charged me for the part-not another service charge or labor. He said he should have had the part for that machine but since he did not he would not charge for another trip. He charged $70 for service call and $32 for the part. I thought that was a really good price. His work was very professional and I would not call anyone else for any of my appliance work in the future. I recommend him to anyone and indeed I have already done that for several of my friends.
